Servers and network
Virtual servers sized for your traffic, dedicated servers where you need the whole machine, and Kubernetes for containerised applications. Shared or dedicated internet access, with secure remote access for your team.
Storage and backups
Block, file and object storage that grows with your data. Automated backups on a schedule we agree, with immutable copies that ransomware cannot alter, and restores tested rather than assumed.
Security
A shared or dedicated firewall, a web application firewall in front of public sites, firewall logging, encryption, patched servers and access limited to the people who need it.
Disaster recovery
A recovery plan matched to how long you can be down: warm standby for systems that must come back in minutes, cold standby where hours are acceptable. Replicated data, a failover approach and the steps to get back up, written down before anything goes wrong.

Where is the data hosted?
In South African data centres by default, so data stays in the country and close to your users. We can host on Microsoft Azure instead if your business needs it.
How is this priced?
Per month, based on the servers, storage, backups and support you need. Any setup or migration work is quoted separately.
Can you host software you didn’t build?
Yes. We review the application, its data and what it depends on first, then agree a plan to move it across.
What happens if a server fails?
Your recovery plan sets out the replicated data, the failover approach and the steps to restore. We agree the recovery targets with you up front.
